School & College Visits
School children, teachers and students are welcome to visit Keajra Centre as an arranged visit.
Keajra Centre is a place of peace that contains Buddha statues, pictures, shrines, offerings and sacred texts. When visitors enter the meditation room they often comment on the sense of peace there, this benefits both teachers and students.
If your visit is part of an RE syllabus, then please specify exactly what you would like the talk, discussion and guided meditation to cover.
We can explain Buddha's life story and the main Buddhist beliefs. Your visit can include a simple relaxing meditation or a more structured meditation to develop a positive mind like love.
During your visit there is plenty of time to ask questions. Children can fill out worksheets they may have prepared. They can draw Buddhas, write notes and enjoy light refreshments.
Please contact the Centre if you would like to make arrangements to visit Keajra Centre. Alternatively, a representative of Keajra Centre could visit your school or college.
